Within the framework of the campaign against violence against women, was held on Monday 12/12/2019 in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Regional Government, and on the video conference hall in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government Dr. Aram Mohammed and the representative of the President of the Kurdistan Parliament Lanja Dzaiy and a number of the general directors of the ministry and the directors of gender centers in the universities of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Public and private seminar by Prof. Dr. Nazzand pageekhani Professor specialized in gender science entitled "Studies of gender as a concept and theories and systems."
Dr. Sulaf Abdulla, Director of Bayan University's Gender Center participated in this seminar. The study highlighted the importance of focusing on spreading a culture of gender equality in roles and participation. Women in the areas of life and the need to achieve a balance in equality and justice. This comes through an academic strategy to activate research and studies to urge the dissemination and application of this concept in a scientific manner and the relevant ministries of education and related centers.
