The Faculty of Law and International Relations held on Monday, February 24/2020 in the library of the Bayan a scientific seminar entitled (Divorce) in the presence of the President of the University and professors of the Faculty of Law and International Relations and law students, the seminar was prepared by students in the Law Department of the third stage, both (student khozga Taher and student Lavan Abdel Rahman) Under the supervision of Professor (Eng. Alaa Baha Omar) and (Dr. Haseeb Saleh), the students discussed in Seminar about the nature, types and causes of divorce in the Kurdistan Region in accordance with Article 188 of 1959 in the Personal Status Law of Iraq, and they dealt with treatments according to what is decided in the law Also students were able to The scientific seminar to provide statistical cases of divorce in the Kurdistan region for the year (2018 and the first nine months of 2019) At the end of the seminar professors thanked the supervisors for the fruitful efforts of our students and the extent of their potential to raise important topics related to the legal field
