Artificial intelligence is an expansive branch of computer science that focuses on building smart machines. Everywhere we find smart technologies that facilitate dealing with many of the requirements of life: commercial and industrial companies, transportation, markets, in the field of medicine, pharmacy, engineering, smart homes and cities, and in other fields.

People's lives will become increasingly simpler with the assistance of artificial intelligence technology, which is self-evident

Working and thinking like the task of the human brain is not an easy thing, and artificial intelligence has simplified it to some extent and replaced physical human work. This is the age of artificial intelligence, and it will appear more in the future. Humanity needs this science, smart robots, driverless car driving, and pilot Drones, automatic answers to inquiries, and medical consultations, all of this is enhanced by artificial intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence Types

Type 1 – Based on Functionality

  1. Reactive Machine

They are the simplest and most ancient form of Artificial Intelligence. They imitate a human's capacity to respond to a variety of stimuli. This type of AI has no memory power, so they lack the capability to use previously gained information/experience to obtain better results.  Example: Deep Blue, IBM’s chess-playing supercomputer

  1. Limited Theory

This sort of AI, like Reactive Machines, has memory capabilities, allowing it to leverage prior data and experience to make better judgments in the future. Many self-driving automobiles, for example, have limited memory technology. They save information such as GPS coordinates.

  1. Theory of Mind

Theory of Mind is the next level of artificial intelligence, with little to no impact on our daily existence. These types of AI are often at the "Work in Progress" stage and are only available in research labs. For instance, Winston demonstrated a prototype of a robot that can travel through a narrow corridor with additional robots approaching from the other direction in his research.

  1. Self-Aware AI

This is the AI's last step. Its present existence is simply a rumor, and it can only be found in science fiction films. These AI systems are capable of understanding and evoking human emotions, as well as having emotions of their own.

Type 2 – Based on Capabilities

  1. Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI)

This category includes all of the existing AI applications that we see around us. ANI encompasses an AI system that, like humans, can execute precisely specified particular activities. These machines, on the other hand, cannot accomplish jobs for which they have not been designed in advance, hence they are unable to complete an unprecedented task.

  1. Artificial General Intelligence (ANI)

AGI can train, learn, understand, and perform functions in the same way that anyone can. These systems will have multifunctional capabilities that cover a variety of areas.

  1. Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI)

The pinnacle of AI progress will be Artificial Super Intelligence. ASI will be the most powerful type of intelligence yet created on Earth. Because of its incomparably higher data processing, memory, and decision-making abilities, it will be able to execute all tasks better than humans.

The Applications of Artificial Intelligence in The daily life

  • Houses with Smart Technology

The most powerful artificial intelligence applications in the real world are being applied in homes, and they are getting smarter every day. Smart locks, smart switches, and other gadgets are becoming increasingly interoperable with other devices, and smart home applications are becoming more available to the general public every day.

  • Travel

AI is being used by travel businesses for a variety of activities. Apart from improving customer service (which we've already addressed), they're also utilizing AI to determine costs for various locations by evaluating historical and real-time data from the numerous data silos available to them.

  • Artificial Intelligence Applications in Education

Despite the fact that humans have the biggest impact in the education industry, Artificial Intelligence has quietly begun to sink its roots into it as well.

These are some of the uses in this field:

  • Automated Administrative Tasks to Assist Educators
  • Developing Intelligent Content
  • Assistants that speak to you
  • Personalized Education

  • Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Lifestyle
  • Self-driving cars
  • Filters for Spam
  • Recognition of Facial Expressions
  • System of Recommendation

  • Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Robotics

Another industry where artificial intelligence technologies are widely employed is robotics. AI-powered robots employ real-time updates to detect obstructions in their path and instantaneously arrange their route.

It may be used for a variety of purposes, including:

  • In hospitals, industries, and warehouses, transporting commodities
  • Cleaning huge equipment and offices
  • Inventory control is important.

  • Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

Artificial intelligence has a wide range of uses in the healthcare industry. Artificial intelligence (AI) is being utilized in healthcare to create sophisticated devices that can detect illnesses and cancer cells. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can assist in the analysis of chronic illnesses using lab and other medical data in order to ensure early identification. For the discovery of novel medications, AI combines a combination of historical data and medical knowledge.

  • Gaming with Artificial Intelligence

The gaming industry is another area where Artificial Intelligence technologies have gained traction. To interact with the players, AI may be employed to generate intelligent, human-like NPCs.

  • Automobile AI Applications

Self-driving automobiles are built using artificial intelligence. To drive the vehicle, AI can be combined with the camera, radar, cloud services, GPS, and control signals. AI can enhance the in-vehicle experience by adding features like emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and steering aid.

  • Social Media AI Applications
  • Instagram

On Instagram, AI takes into consideration your interests and the accounts you follow to select which posts appear in your Explore tab.

  • Facebook

Artificial Intelligence is being employed, as well as a technique known as DeepText. Facebook can better interpret discussions using this technology. It may be used to automatically translate postings across languages.

  • Twitter

Twitter uses AI for fraud detection, propaganda removal, and hateful content removal. Twitter also use AI to suggest tweets to users depending on the types of tweets they engage with.

Artificial intelligence is already automating corporate processes and will continue to do so in the future. Artificial intelligence is a vast field with plenty of information to be discovered. Only AI professionals are capable of realizing the technology's full potential. Predictive analytics and artificial intelligence will undoubtedly play a larger role in content production and software development in the future.
