Admissions
Support for high achievers, siblings, staff families and hardship cases.
The university reduces tuition in a number of defined cases. A reduction is applied to the fee account rather than paid out, and more than one category does not stack — the largest single reduction applies.
Categories
- Academic merit, on the secondary school result at entry and on the annual result thereafter
- Siblings studying at the university at the same time
- Children and spouses of university staff
- Documented financial hardship
- Martyrs' families and cases recognised under regional provisions
Applications are made to the admissions office at the point of registration, with the evidence each category requires. A reduction is reviewed each year and continues only while the condition that granted it still holds.
